Can one reuse carbon air filters?
I have a Vornado HEPA air filter. I finally got around to changing the carbon filter today and noticed there was a thick layer of grey dust on it. After shaking it out outside, it looks pretty much like a new one. Is there any invisible and/or chemical
What you are shaking off are the coarse particles you can see. The purpose of a HEPA filter is to trap very small particles in the carbon. Replace the filter.

This weekend igrowhydro.com has published a 15% off CAN Carbon Fan
Here is how you can make some very cool smoke with just a simple filter effect. I haven't seen a tutorial like this on the internet yet so I thought I had better post one. But anyway I find it a very useful method, I use it quite a bit.
