Portable jump starter and air compressor on a plane?

Can I take a portable jump starter and air compressor on a plane?
It has 12 volts.
It weights about 5 kilo's.

If you are referring to the ind that connect to a vehicles electrical system via the cigar lighter, then I guess it would be ok. If however it has it's own power source, you may want to contact the airline.
