Does the 30th anniversary Pontiac Trans Am come equipped with an Ls1 engine?

Does the 30th anniversary Pontiac Trans Am come equipped with an Ls1 engine? I know it has the Ws6 package, but I haven't been able to find out what type of engine it has other than the ordinary Pontiac 5.7 liter 350ci V8.

Yes... LS1 for the 30 th Anniversary model

LS1 took over the emgine compartment in all T/A's in August 1997, To the 1998 year models

Can be found in all til its end in 2002
