I have a 1994 ford taurus the Serpentine Belt keeps getting chewed up on the edge why?

the tentioner pulley has been replaced and the ideler pull also has help but after about a 4 weeks or so its messing it up on the edge should i use a smaller belt it has a 3.0 in it

check all your pulleis, you may have a rough eged on one of them, if so then just file it smooth again
